I started Community Compass because I kept seeing the same thing: passionate founders, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits doing incredible work but feeling lost when it came to their finances. Numbers felt like a roadblock instead of a tool. I knew it didn't have to be that way.
With over 15 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, and strategy, I built Community Compass to help businesses and nonprofits find clarity, confidence, and direction. My mission is simple: take the stress out of money so you can focus on what matters most.

Hi, I'm Gill, founder, finance professional, and big believer that money doesn't have to be scary. I have 15+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong focus on nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and small to medium businesses. I love strategy, systems, and problem-solving. More than that, I love helping people feel confident and empowered by their numbers. When I'm not organizing books and building systems, you'll find me with coffee in hand, getting cozy on the couch, or cheering on other women in business.
